Key points
- Xinchuang spans many layers: chips, complete machines, operating systems, databases, middleware, office software, security products and industry applications.
- State-owned enterprises usually require domestic technology adaptation when building or upgrading information systems, and some projects also require IPv6 support.
- For application software, the keys to Xinchuang adaptation are database compatibility, CPU architecture compatibility, support for Chinese national cryptographic algorithms and offline deployment.
In practice
For trading companies, Xinchuang requirements usually stem from a group IT plan or state-asset supervision requirements. For a given system, the question is whether it runs reliably in the specified domestic hardware and software environment. Business systems often depend on database features and third-party components, and the most common problems when switching environments are SQL dialect differences, character set and time handling, driver compatibility and performance tuning.
When selecting software, check whether the product supports several databases from the same codebase rather than maintaining a separate branch for domestic environments; whether deployment packages for domestic CPU architectures and offline installation are available; whether encryption supports the Chinese SM2 and SM4 algorithms; and what the vendor’s plan is for verifying adaptation in the target environment.
How Tranexio supports it
Tranexio supports MySQL and Chinese domestic databases such as Dameng, from the same codebase with no forks. On-premises installations can be provided as an ARM64 offline deployment package with licence activation, and SM2 is supported for password transmission and SM4 for field encryption. Specific Xinchuang stack combinations are adapted and verified per environment during the project. See Security and deployment.
